IQOS ILUMA

IQOS ILUMA is a heated tobacco device manufactured by Philip Morris International (PMI). IQOS ILUMA does not burn tobacco like a traditional cigarette, but rather heats it to lower temperatures to produce a vapor instead of smoke. This process is known as tobacco heating and is marketed as a potentially less harmful alternative to smoking conventional cigarettes.

The IQOS ILUMA device uses special TEREA cigarettes, which contain processed tobacco. When a TEREA is placed in the IQOS ILUMA device and the induction heating system inside is activated, it reaches a temperature that heats the tobacco to approximately 350°C (instead of over 800°C for a conventional cigarette). This lower temperature supposedly reduces the production of harmful substances associated with the combustion of tobacco.

It is important to note that although some studies suggest that the use of IQOS ILUMA may generate fewer harmful chemicals than smoking traditional cigarettes, it may still carry health risks and is not considered risk-free or a healthy option for people who they do not smoke. In addition, tobacco products, including IQOS ILUMA, are subject to specific regulations in different countries, and their availability may vary depending on local legislation.

If you are considering using tobacco-related products, it is essential to educate yourself about the risks and regulations specific to your area, and it is best for your health to avoid tobacco use in any form. If you want to reduce or quit smoking, it is advisable to seek help from health professionals or specialized programs to stop smoking.
